I was on the Timehop app today and it showed that four years ago today I posted about going to our elementary school-led Ash Wednesday mass where this song was sung. Such good memories of singing and leading this song as a cantor back in my school days. It’s such a simple song but it has a powerful message of mercy and forgiveness.
As Ryan said a couple years ago, “It’s such a simple song but it has a powerful message of mercy and forgiveness.” We have used it as the Psalm response at our Divine Mercy devotions on Divine Mercy Sunday for the last 29 years.
