Be Still for the Presence of the Lord VAO 1/9

This is a lovely hymn written by David Evans in the 1980s but has a classic singable tune. I’ve never heard it before but apparently it is a favourite in many places.

    Indeed: it’s extremely well known in Ireland and from the looks of things the UK, but virtually unknown in Aus/NZ. There’s a small group of songs like this, I’m not quite sure why – possibly because they were written in the 1980s rather than 1970s. Another is John Glynn’s “Close to You” – widely known and loved here.

    By the way if your familiar of the song Join in the dance of the earth jubilation by Dan Schutte…i would like to request the mimus one of that song. ill wait for it!
