Another song in the All Are Welcome folio is Haugen’s setting of a text by Jaroslav J. Vayda.
Of the six verses 1,2,4 &6 share a tune while 3&5 are a different “bridge” tune. The sheet music is loaded with percussion, harmonies, countermelodies and suggestions for male/female/children/choir/SATB/SA verses.
I’m not at all sure where this would fit in a liturgy – a song of praise perhaps as recessional or gathering.
The more usual setting is a very different beast indeed. It is called ROEDER by Carl Shalk.
