APMN Conference day 2

It is harder than I remembered to type on my old ipad.

Last night we were treated to a wonderful concert of a wide variety of musical styles. There was much singing along and I sung myself hoarse.

This mornings highlight was Prof Clare Johnson taking on the subject of music as liturgical glue with much fun and some science to add to the theology.

I attended a session with David Haas that was billed as Music and the Mass: Step by step, but while that was addressed was a lovely informal discussion that ranged widely.

The other session I attended today was a spirit filled meditative session from Gina Ogilvie and Jen Charadia on music and diversity.

I am just back from a joyful mass presided over by the local Bishop and filled with wonderful music.
