Thanks, Claire.  I recall playing that song for many years without problems at a previous parish. Inculturation flows in all directions.

Having said that, I&#039;m butting in on it to note that I am on the music roster for tomorrow&#039;s Vigil Mass (Australia Day), and our priests, who are both Filipino, have given me permission to play the Seekers&#039; &quot;We Are Australian&quot; as the recessional. Although technically the recessional is not part of Mass, I&#039;m crossing fingers that the older congregation members won&#039;t be offended at the lack of liturgical content.
