Your right, Ryan. I note that on both these songs there are multiple copyright dates going back to 1970 so I think he has retreaded his own tune that goes back to 1970. There may be another text from 1970 that was its original lyric.

Just a few occasional differences in rhythm and pitch in the refrain.
