G’Day John. Don’t you just love last minute requests and no budget.

I’m in Japan for a week on holidays so I can’t send you anything myself even if that were kosher. I’d go to their sample site:

and get the changes from there if I were you, even if you have to hand write them until you are allowed the budget to download the real copy – which I think is very modest.

The Lamb of God has changed in that the words are not “Jesus, Lamb of God” anymore but “La-a-amb of God” which really sounds like a sheep bleating now and just “Grant us peace”. We did it for two months and even after we got the big changes right the Lamb of God was not always remembered.

Good luck with the changes. I’m from Australia so we’ve been using the new settings since mid year. I think the Holy Holy from Creation was the worst for people singing the old setting week after week – even when it was announced before mass that this was not the mass of Creation that they had been singing for 30 years.

I’m trying to put together mass for Sunday and my parish, while expecting me to accomplish this has not provided any funds or backing. I’m relying on the kindness of other folks with cool stuff like *budgets* to help me. I have the Gloria (which I know I don’t need until Christmas), and the Holy holy. It is my understanding that the Amen and Lamb of God remain unchanged. Can you please help? I promise not to distribute this music other than to my own choir members, who like me, are equally terrified.
