I also grew up with this class and many other from the New Living Parish book. I also try to incorporate music across the decades - so many lovely hymns have been lost over time.

Yes, this is one of our 'golden oldies' - sung by the 'folk choir' in my parish growing up. 'Into You Hands' can be found in 'The New Living Parish Hymn Book', E. J. Dwyer 1986, a hymn book which many Catholic parishes might find at the back of their bookcases. 'The Best of Rap Repp vol 1' is now on iTunes, and I found a piano accompaniment on OCP - well, almost. The words are in Spanish (Entre Tus Manos - http://www.ocp.org/products/30107893), and the melody is almost the same as 'Into Your Hands', with a few tweaks. I like to have a balance when choosing music, and try to include a classic or two.

I like the folk song you kicked off with. I haven't come across it before.
