Well, the thees and thous may SOUND archaic and too formal, but remember that they are the intimate forms of second person address (aka “you”). I think that it’s lovely that we only address God as “Thee” or “Thou” anymore.

We had music which nearly made me late for work – still it’s a mighty effort to play piano at 6.30am and I applaud the effort.

Are these the lyrics to “Lord Throughout These Forty Days”? They seem to fit Amazing Grace but are claimed as an Anglican text by Claudia Hernaman from 1873.

We change our Mass Setting to Mass of Glory and Praise. We sing the Penitenial Act during Lent.
