I general, I try not to tamper with the music as written because it gets confusing if you are at another parish and they sing things differently, but I make an exception for this song. I cut a bar out between the refrain and the verse and it flows better, especially for a guitarist. I’ve noticed a lot of people have adapted this one so you’re not alone, but, alas, we’ve all made different changes!
