Neither of the translations I found say “lake shore” so with several English translations about it would make it difficult to participate.

I bet it sounds better in Spanish.

I can’t find the exact translation of Lord, You Have Come online. The credit on the worship aid said it was from United Methodist Publishing. There is a very close translation in the Chalice Hymnal on Google Books, but I’m almost positive the version we sang didn’t use the word lakeshore in the first line. In any case, it wasn’t a version I’ve sung before and maybe that’s why I thought it seemed clunky.
