I was from Norwood, Ohio, just a few minutes from St. Cecilia’s in Oakley and I, too, know this song from the early 1950’s. A lady who lived down the street from me had a “block rosary” at her house every Friday and were told that a friend of her’s wrote this song. We had a whole group of young kids from the neighborhood who attended this block rosary and we recorded this song from a radio my mother had that also made records. I have the record in my possession, but nothing that I can play it on. It is a small record, about the size of a 45, but smaller.
