This Holy Thursday song by Erik Routley has a metrical antiphon for the assembly and is more chant style in the verses for a cantor.
He has based the text very closely on John 15:12-17. I’ll rephrase that – the text is the RSV version pretty much word for word, viz :
Antiphon = v12 This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Verse 1 =13 Greater love has no [one] man than this, [than to] that a man lay down [one’s] his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.
Verse 2=15 No longer do I call you servants, [but I have called you friends] for [a] the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
Verse 3=16 You did not choose me, but I [have chosen] chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide;
Verse 5= so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, [the Father] he [will] may give it to you. 17 This I command you, to love one another.
I’ll grant his tune OF LOVE DIVINE can be copyright at least. My backing is approximate and I have chosen note lengths for the chant that make things too metrical, but BIAB can’t do Chant.
This is more like it.

As I continue my survey of the songs in CWB II that I haven’t already covered we leave the Chrism Mass and get to Holy Thursday.
CWB II inexpicably leaves out Dan Schutte’s “As I Have Done For You”, which I think is the best foot washing song in Christendom – they have 5 of his songs in the collection and they are ones that are in such high rotation that no excuse for leaving them out would be believed.
CWB II does, however, include “The Glory of the Cross We Sing” with a text by John Ainslie set to ROCKINGHAM, which is a melody adapted by Edward Miller c18.

This song is by Carl P Daw Jnr and is set to HYFRYDOL so you already know the tune. It is elected for the Chrism Mass in CWB II but has applications beyond that eg Trinity Sunday.

The refrain is by Stephen Sommerville. The first line “O Redeemer, hear our singing” is from the Sacramentary but the line “Listen to our voice and prayer” is all his own work.
The tune is by Christopher Willcock so you know it won’t be run of the mill. I had a thrash with BIAB but it is a forlorn task to attempt Willcock on computer when he needs an ensemble.
Hymnary has this text set to everything except this tune. I cobbled together the chords from the accompaniment but it would be easier if they were just provided.

… a processional for Palm Sunday, I have got to yet more chant, this time a processional for the Chrism Mass.

There are two verses each for the “Oil of the Sick”, the “Oil of the Catechumens”, “The Sacred Chrism” and the “Procession of the Gifts”.

For all my carping at this book’s misplaced emphasis on very traditional material, it does cover the liturgical bases.
This song is for the blessing of the palms and has an antiphon from the Roman Missal based on Matt 21:9 and verses from Psalm 118 from The Grail.

I can’t get BIAB to do chant so I am no help to anyone. For my own amusement, as I once again failed, I laid on some sounds that don’t help.
To get my fix of Catholic rock I’m back in Voices As One Vol 2, because it won’t be in Catholic Worship Book 2 will it?
