Goodness, I thought I’d be able to skip a lot of songs in the Guitar Accompaniment Book, but I find there are many that I haven’t blogged after all.
This a Christmas carol set to IN DULCIO JUBILO and the text is 14th century Latin and German translated by John M. Neale in the 19th century.
Hymnary have the text and sheet music, obviously public domain. Originally “Good Christian Men” it is variously corrected to “all” or “friends”.
