I am very grateful when people put up the liturgies from their home parishes on this site to see what new or unfamiliar songs other places are singing.
RS has alerted me to a recent song based on the Beatitudes by Dan Schutte called, “O How Blessed”.
This is singable despite all the dotted notes, having a memorable and interesting melody.
It really is a wonderful song with obvious liturgical uses (RCIA, funerals, All Saints, Lent etc, etc) and you can purchase the sheet music at OCP where they have hidden the text in their sample.
