This is a great song by Marty Haugen, althought his version really doesn’t do it justice. It has multiple liturgical uses and is a frequent choice by our liturgists. I hadn’t noticed the 4th – 7th verses because we never get that far. I’d love to sing to the whales at mass. I suspect that’s what got it the Bishop’s tick from the NLMB.
