One of the reasons for this blog is that I don’t sight read music. If I see sheet music the quickest way for me to get an idea of how it goes is to make a simple backing on Band in a Box.
Some of the sheet music on the new As One Voice/Willow site doesn’t have a sample of the music that would let me know if the tune is singable.
This Erica Marshall blessing song is one of those, so I made a backing based on the preview on the site. I hope it helps you decide if this is suitable to your needs.
Erica Marshall did a lot of work years ago arranging Frank Andersen’s songs and has two masses of her own for sale at Willow, Missa Santa Clara and the Mass of God’s People. We use her “O Sacred Flame” a lot. She also has six songs in AOV 1&2.
