  1. Chris Wroblewski says:

I’ve been told that we’ll be following the liturgy for the 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time, but I still managed to include 3 Australian hymns:

Entrance: Sing a New Song, Sing a New Song [McAuley / COSMIC PRAISE]
Psalm and Gospel Acclamation: John Schiavone
You Walk along Our Shoreline [Dunstan / AURELIA]
    Mass of St. Francis [Taylor]
By Your Priestly Power, O Risen Lord [McAuley / TRAVALLI]
Holy Father, God of Might [Connolly / CATHERINE]

  2. Ryan says:

Obviously in the US, we won’t be celebrating Australia Day, so I’ll post our regular Third Sunday in Ordinary Time selections.

    At the Cathedral family Mass…
    Gathering: The Summons (Bell)
    Melodic Gloria (Chepponis)
Gifts: Bring Forth the Kingdom (Haugen)
    Communion: Two Fishermen (Toolan)
    Meditation: Lead Me, Lord (Becker)
Closing: Though the Mountains May Fall (Schutte)

    • Ryan says:

      My own parish…

Gathering: Sing a New Song (Schutte)
Mass Parts: Mass of Redemption (Janco)
Psalm: The Lord Is My Light (Haas)
      Gifts: The Summons (Bell)
Communion: Lord, You Have Come (Gabarain/trans. UM Hymnal) – Having sung both the anonymous OCP translation and the Jabusch translation before, I wasn’t a fan of this version with its awkward and inconsistent phrasing.
      Many and One (Angrisano/Hart/Liles)
Closing: How Can I Keep from Singing (Lowry)
