I like your selection but our congregation don’t know most of them :/
There is one small problem in that there are two options for most of the liturgy, and our parish office haven’t let me know which our priests will be using.
Anyway, for now I’m going with:
Entrance – Praise To You, O Christ Our Saviour (Farrell)
First collection (not sung by congregation) We Shall Draw Water Joyfully (Inwood)
Second collection (not sung by congregation) Bless The Lord, My Soul (Taize) with me singing the verses
Offertory – A Voice Cries Out (Joncas) – might need changing depending on the liturgy selection
Communion – Come To The Feast (Haugen)
Thanksgiving – Ten Thousand Reasons (Bless The Lord) (Matt Redman) – I taught it recently to our congregation and they seem to like it.
Recessional – undecided, but probably City Of God (Schutte).

      G’Day Claire

For all the wonderful songs I’ve found, you can really only introduce a couple of new songs a year, so we all have to go with what the assembly knows.

      Thanks for the suggestions.

      cheers

      Geoff

  2. Ryan says:

Gathering: How Great Is Our God (Tomlin/Reeves/Cash)

Mass Parts: Mass of St. Therese (Griffin)
Psalm: The Lord Will Bless His People With Peace (Haugen)

    Gifts: Rain Down (Cortez)

Communion: 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) (Redman/Myrin)
    We Are Many Parts (Haugen)

Closing: Let the River Flow (Evans)
