I’m selecting songs from the collection Never Too Young, looking for OCP hymns that got missed in the 2000s.
This is a Timothy R. Smith song from 2005 that would work as a rousing Easter recessional. The verses are probably for a soloist but the assembly can participate in the refrain. It is a highly syncopated country rocker. As with all the songs I have looked at so far from NTY, I can see nothing that suggests these songs are exclusively for young people.
