Emma’s parish used this Dan Schutte song that was new to me at Easter. It has an odd meter of a 6/4 bar followed by two 4/4 bars in the refrain that might take a bit of getting used to.

I’m not sure about my backing but I was aiming to follow the instruction to be spirited. I suspect this song needs a choir and would frustrate an assembly. I couldn’t find any You-Tube clips of assemblies having a go at it, so let me know if you have found it work for congregational singing.
I quite like the music in the original but I have my usual reservations about the singing in this clip.
